Meet Kelly Evans, PA
Originally from Bethlehem, PA, Kelly attended Louisiana State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. During her studies at Louisiana State University, Kelly participated in gymnastics – a sport she enjoyed her entire life. In her early competitive years, Kelly was exposed to the medical field after a few minor injuries and knew that she wanted a career in medicine. Kelly went on to complete her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
In addition to her early interactions with medical professionals, Kelly’s interest in medicine was solidified during her undergraduate studies because of her involvement with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. “I thoroughly enjoy being able to interact and help people on a daily basis,” says Kelly.
When asked about providing quality care, Kelly says: “It is most important to provide quality care to each and every patient. Patients come to their office visits with the intention of receiving this type of care and it is certainly our duty to fulfill that.” Kelly is thrilled to be working in spine health, and enjoys working at OAA because “OAA provides an environment that is very team oriented and allows for us to all work together to provide the best care for our patients.”
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, listening to country music, and watching LSU football. She is also heavily involved with the LSU Gymnastics Alumni Association.
